| 1) | Hi - I think there's a problem with the bottom left grid? I keep getting 2 6's in the 3rd row from the bottom not matter how many times I've tried it?!! Comment by: Vickie. Made on the 01st Mar 2006. |
| 2) | Remember that a sum box may contain several time the same number ! And you will solve it ! Comment by: Phil. Made on the 03rd Mar 2006. |
| 3) | I agree with Vickie's frustration. I know you say you can use the same number twice in a sum box but to me 23 should be 6,8,9 not 9,9,5. It adds another dimension but does not seem "pure" to me. Comment by: Susan Oates. Made on the 02nd Apr 2006. |
| 4) | I kept making a mistake somewhere in the bottom left 9x 9 square and it took me hours to realize out that '23' can be made from 9+9+5 since it overlaps into another 3x3 square. If that '23' had 6,8,9 in it, the puzzle wouldn't work at all. Comment by: Sarah. Made on the 19th Nov 2006. |

To solve the puzzle you must make sure that every column, row and 3x3 box in each larger 9x9 grid contains the numbers 1 through to 9. The colours on the puzzle are the cages which all contain a small number which is the sum total of all the squares in that caged area. (The puzzles is basically a combination of a Samurai Sudoku puzzle and a Killer Sudoku Puzzle.)
Almost all of the puzzles can be solved using logic alone and there is no need to guess. A puzzle can take from 1 hour to almost a day to complete depending on its level and your experience. More on the rules and tips for quick solving can be found here.
