| 1) | Looks as if there are 3 possible solutions to puzzle. Starting with center puzzle, top center square-purple cross w/ sum 18: 2,5 can be switched and followed thru to make at least 2 other solutions. Comment by: MJ. Made on the 29th Mar 2006. |
| 2) | I agree with above comment - there's no reason that those numbers can't be swapped, along with the 3-5-7 in the cross below it, the 2-3 in the bottom cross, and the 5-7 in the left cross. Other than that, I liked that this puzzle really was a samurai in that you needed the middle block to figure out at least some parts of the outer ones. Comment by: Amy. Made on the 10th Mar 2008. |

To solve the puzzle you must make sure that every column, row and 3x3 box in each larger 9x9 grid contains the numbers 1 through to 9. The colours on the puzzle are the cages which all contain a small number which is the sum total of all the squares in that caged area. (The puzzles is basically a combination of a Samurai Sudoku puzzle and a Killer Sudoku Puzzle.)
Almost all of the puzzles can be solved using logic alone and there is no need to guess. A puzzle can take from 1 hour to almost a day to complete depending on its level and your experience. More on the rules and tips for quick solving can be found here.
