4) Cant quite get to grips with this , thought the kakuro rules would appy as in killer sudoku , so the 4 at bottom left should be possible , as 1,2,1 wouldnt be allowed as with some of the other numbers that when checking the answers have double ups in them.

6) Actually, there is a mistake. In the lower left box, there are 3 squares that a re supposed to add up to 4. Is this supposed to be 14?

8) Looking over your website I found where you say that a number CAN repeat in a group of squares the same color, as long as the Sudoku rules are not broken. What do you mean? That as long as the rows, columns, and 3x3 squares do not have repeats? Do you make any samurai's without the repeat thing? It's taken me a wile to get the hang of these allowing repeats!! :)

9) Hello Jim, I appreciate you might be finding it hard with the extra dificult cages. However I encourage you to continue to rise to the challenge and solve them. However in answer to your question, the first 10 or so one this site do not have repeat numbers in cages.

10) In order to have a standardised set of rules for Killer Sudoku, I propose that we accept Kakuro solving rules where numbers cannot be repeated within a block.

11) I am abandonning attempting all these puzzles owing to the fact that the author is using non-standard rules allowing repetition of numbers within a colour block.

12) Thanks a lot Daniel! I'm really enjoying these puzzles. However, I must agree with some of the other comments (although one or two of them didn't have to be so snobbish about it), it would really be preferable to work on standard rules and not allow repetitions within the same colour zone. It gets confusing going from one set of rules to another.

Other than that, this is really great! Also the newer colour scheme is much better, the first half of the puzzles don't print out so well on bubblejet (the numbers are a little hard to read).

14) I think repetitions within the same colour zone can be allowed, cause the rules specify that repetition cannot occur just on column, row and 9-squares, not in colour zones. It makes puzzle more challenging, cause it forces you to think on repetition just on "L" zones through 9-squares.
