Note: Numbers may be repeated in colour regions as long as they do not break any of the traditional sudoku rules.

| 3) | Top left grid. The rule of having different numbers within the same coloured area is broken in rows 5&6 columns 6&7 (violet 1+1+5 for a total of 7)(see comment on Killer Samurai 1). Comment by: Carlos Labarta. Made on the 08th Jan 2006. |
| 4) | My previous comment. With respect to rule number 4 (the "rare repetition of numbers"), it would be preferable to cancel that condition, since in some countries it is never used and, in fact, goes against the "soul" of the game and it is confusing for the logic process of solving the sudoku. | 5) | Hi. I found there is more than one solution in KS#3. In the south-west square, the 3x3 block from column 3 to 5 and row 5 to 7 could be: 934 319 691 or 934 391 619 or 394 931 619 In the south-east square, the solution gives: row 5, column 6: 3 row 5, column 9: 6 row 6, column 9: 3 row 6, column 5: 6 row 8, column 5: 3 row 8, column 6: 6 and the 3's and 6's can be reversed. To solve the puzzle you must make sure that every column, row and 3x3 box in each larger 9x9 grid contains the numbers 1 through to 9. The colours on the puzzle are the cages which all contain a small number which is the sum total of all the squares in that caged area. (The puzzles is basically a combination of a Samurai Sudoku puzzle and a Killer Sudoku Puzzle.)
Almost all of the puzzles can be solved using logic alone and there is no need to guess. A puzzle can take from 1 hour to almost a day to complete depending on its level and your experience. More on the rules and tips for quick solving can be found here.
The puzzles along with their solutions can be found on this site.
